Preparing for Deductions

To all the Donors and Friends of Annwfn, [from FoA President Jeanne Koelle, 11/17/06]

We have indeed just recently received our determination letter from the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRC with an effective Date of Exemption as of May 28, 2004. Our EIN# is 65-1215671 and this number should appear on all correspondence. We are also classified as a Public Charity under section 509(a)(2). The State of CA also granted this determination status to us.

Therefore, all contributions are deductible (section 170 of the Code). We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

Donors of $250.00 or more are entitled to written substantiation of their charitable contributions from the Secretary of the Board at the time of the contribution. Since we were just notified by the IRS of their decision, we will honor all your requests for 2006, in a letter, electronic (e-mail) or computer-generated format, all of which are acceptable by the IRS. Please help us with your requests and supply us with as much information concerning dates, check numbers, and amounts donated as you can in a timely manner. PayPal donations will be verified via e-mail if requested from Arthur. And thank you Arthur for your help with this accounting. You are a gem!

Otherwise, if in doubt, I suggest you contact the Board Treasurer for your total contribution if you don't already keep records of your donations, or if you do keep records, e-mail me privately to expedite the paperwork at jkoelle@pacific.net

As always, all your contributions, tithes and donations whether monetary, volunteer services, supplies, blessings, good will, or good wishes... all manner of your personal involvement with Annwfn are appreciated and necessary for the health and well-being of the Sanctuary. Let us continue in our endeavor to make Annwfn the most sacred and cherished part of our growing community with peace, cooperation and respect our highest priorities. Thou art God and Goddess...

Blessed Be,
Jeanne
